Poco: If you could have super-powers, what would you pick?

Me: Hmm... tough one. Does it have to be just one power? Can I pick like, a superhero and have ALL his powers?

Poco: I dunno, what difference does it make? What do you want?

Me: I'd be like, Superman!

Poco: Why, what can he do?

Me: Wat. You don't know what Superman can do!? He can fly, can lift like a bajillion tonnes, has X-ray vision TO SEE THROUGH CLOTHES WITH, can SHOOT FRIGGIN LASERS OUT OF HIS EYES...

Me: Hmmm.... flight I guess.

Poco: Really?

Me: Or maybe teleportation. Flight's just plain awesome, but teleportation would be crazy useful.

Me: Well ok, I guess you could have fun with it. Climb a skyscraper and jump off and slam into a pavement to scare bystanders I suppose. Actually... that DOES sound pretty awesome.

Me: Poco, you can't time-travel. That's naughty. Didn't you read A Sound of Thunder? Imagine if you went back in time and stepped on an ant which was going to pollinate a flower which would have evolved into a crop which was going to be cultivated to sustain a population which would have grown to colonize an entire continent. DO YOU WANT TO SQUISH AN ENTIRE CONTINENT, POCO?! DO YOU?!

Me: Or what if you traveled into the future and arrived on a road where your future self was driving and she ran you over with a large lorry with 32 wheels? Your present self would be killed which means she could not have lived to become the future self to run over the present self which means that the present self would not have died which means that logic is screwed over AND THE UNIVERSE WOULD FREAKING COLLAPSE ON ITSELF.
